National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence against Women is Saturday, December 6. HPL remembers and honours the lives of the fourteen women killed at Montréal’s École Polytechnique in 1989. All HPL branches will observe a moment of silence at 3 pm.

Rolls of Honour

In collaboration with The Hamilton Spectator, the Special Collections department of the Hamilton Public Library (now Local History & Archives) has created and maintained Rolls of Honour containing the names of Hamiltonians killed in the line of duty.
