The City of Hamilton's cybersecurity-related outage that began Sun Feb 25 continues today, Thu Feb 29. This outage affects Library services and some programs. Self-check kiosks, sorters, WiFi, public computers, printing, scanning, Makerspaces are not working. Extended Access is cancelled. We are working with the City to restore these services and will provide updates as often as possible. Thank you for your patience.

Staff are available by phone: 289-779-7588, chat, and email. Branches are open. Study Halls are available. Check the event listings for program updates. The Catalogue is available to browse, but you cannot log in or place holds at this time. Thank you for your patience.

Yes. If you don’t have the HPL app, now is a good time to get it because it’s been redesigned to look and work great.

Check your device settings. Go to the App Store in Settings and if Automatic App Updates are turned on, it should update for you on its own. If not, you can download the update in Available Updates. You can also delete your old version of the HPL App and install the new version.

It does not currently support the iPad app but it can be used on an iPad through compatibility mode.
