Central Library - Fourth Floor Special Event, July 12

Central Library's Fourth Floor is hosting Steel Town Love Festival on Saturday, July 12 from 11am-4pm. Makerspace and Newcomer Learning Centre will remain open. Floors 1-3 are available for Members to use as study and work spaces instead.

Terryberry Branch Elevator Out of Order

The parking lot elevator at Terryberry Branch is not working. Members will need to use the accessible ramp at the Mohawk entrance and the inner elevator. We're working to get it fixed quickly.

This site gives the history of 50 Hamilton’s parks.

Cultural Landmarks of Hamilton-Wentworth
This site gives the history of many landmarks in Hamilton.

The Heart of the City: A Virtual Tour of Downtown Hamilton
This site gives an overview of the buildings surrounding Gore Park in downtown Hamilton with photographs and historical information.

Industrial Hamilton: The Trail to the Future
This site gives an overview of Hamilton’s industrial history and includes histories of specific industries, past and present. It also includes histories of the railways and street railways in Hamilton.
