HPL is recovering from the City of Hamilton's cybersecurity-related incident, which began Sunday February 25 and continues today. Learn more.
- Public computers are available at all branches. JAWS (Job Access With Speech) computers are not available.
- Printing is available at all branches.
- Photocopying and scanning is available at all branches except at Westdale and Concession.
- Public Wi-Fi is available at all branches.
- Makerspace services are available at select locations.

Dundas Branch Closed For Renovations
HAMILTON, ON – August 30, 2016 –Hamilton Public Library’s Dundas Branch is under construction and will be closed for renovations beginning at 5 p.m. Saturday, September 3.
WHAT: A new temporary branch will be opening at 55 Cootes Drive on Tuesday, September 13. Watch for more details about this location on hpl.ca. A bookmobile stop has been scheduled for Fridays from 10 a.m. to noon beginning on Friday, September 9. The bookmobile will stop in the parking lot behind the Dundas Branch. Customers are asked to speak to staff about picking up their holds at the bookmobile or another Branch during construction.
