Labour Day Parade

Carpenters Union Local 18 marching up James Street on September 2, 1958. They are just passing the Lister Building at the corner of King William Street.

Here is a float celebrating the 60th anniversary of Barbers Local 131 moving up James Street North on September 8, 1959. They have just reached the corner of King and James and you can see the old City Hall in the background.
