Central Library: Children's Area Renovation on 2nd Floor
Renovations are currently underway for the 2nd floor Central Children's Area. Programs are still being offered as scheduled and there is a temporary pop-up Children’s Area on the northeast side of the 2nd floor (near the Piano Room), including access to collections and train tables. Ancaster Branch
The Ancaster Branch first opened in 1955. The branch moved several times over the following decade. The library arrived at its current location on Wilson Street in 1967 as a Centennial project. Completely renovated in 2006, the branch offers materials and programming for children, teens and adults.
The Ancaster Branch also has a Seed Library provided in partnership with Green Venture. Visit the Ancaster Branch to select seeds, find information about gardening and HPL programs, and harvest seeds to replenish the Seed Library.
The Ancaster branch is located at 300 Wilson St E, Ancaster, ON L9G 2B9.
