Effective Sunday, February 1, Sunday service hours at Central Library will be paused.
Sunday Hours will continue at Dundas, Red Hill, Terryberry, Turner Park, Valley Park and Waterdown Branches from 1-5pm.

Daily print balances for black and white and colour printing change January 2, 2026. The new daily print balance is 40 cents. Members receive four free black and white copies or two free colour copies.

Teen Gaming Volunteer
HPL offers opportunities for teens to play video games on Nintendo Switch. Teen Gaming Volunteers host sessions and assist with the set-up, take-down and monitoring of gaming equipment as part of the Teen Hub Zone program.
Volunteer Qualifications:

Ages 14-18.

Works well in a group setting.

Ability to communicate well with others.

Reliable and trustworthy.

Tech savvy and comfortable with Nintendo Switch games.
Volunteer Responsibilities:

Set up and monitor gaming equipment.

Take down equipment at end of program.

Ensure gaming controllers are charged.

Encourage other teens to participate.
